‘Time has come’ to act on Iran, Israel says

November 21, 2011

The “time has come” to deal with Iran, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Sunday, refusing to rule out military action to curb the Islamic republic’s nuclear ambitions.

Barak, speaking on CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS program, indicated that Israel’s patience was wearing thin — and provided an ominous response when asked about the growing speculation of an Israeli military strike.

Iranian Ambassador: UN Vote “a Step Towards Wiping Out Israel”

September 24, 2011

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas complained that “all hell has broken out against us” over the UN effort, but that there was no turning back from the present course.

That course, Iran’s ambassador to Egypt said in a weekend interview, was merely one stage in a broader effort. The push for full membership as a UN member state “is a step towards wiping out Israel,” said Ambassador Mojtaba Amani in an interview with Al-Watan al-Arabi. “But the Palestinians must that follow a correct example and complete all the measures to prevent the Zionist Entity from depriving them their rights.”

Israel Palestinian Conflict: The Truth About the Peace Process

September 11, 2001

September 11, 2011

Please take a moment to remember those who died in the attacks of September 11, 2001.  Please also think of those who are still fighting for our freedom, and remember those who gave their lives.

It is sad how many do not understand the 9/11 attacks.  Sick minded, over-educated and under-knowledge people who entertain delusional fantasies about how the US government planned the attacks.  Communist agitators who claim the attacks were well deserved.  “Useful Idiots” who think opposing radical, murderous ideology is somehow akin to a global, ignorant hatred of Muslims.  Weak cowards who insist that murdering homosexuals and oppressing women is a cultural right of some kind.

9/11 was not about foreign policy.  It was not about George W. Bush.  It was about a deep hatred of our way of life.  It was an attack on freedom.  It was an attack on womens rights.  It was an attack on gay rights.  It was an attack on freedom of religion. The people who planned and executed these attacks, and those that continue to advocate for more do not care about foreign policy, they do not care about oil, they do not care about borders.  They care that we live as we see fit.  That we live wrong. We are not dealing with another culture or another religion.  We are dealing with a small, sick, and power hungry group that seeks to leverage Islam for power.  In our efforts to defeat them, we cannot stop.  We must not stop.

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.

Mexican Military in US Again

September 8, 2011

ZAPATA COUNTY, Texas — With a Mexican navy helicopter whirring low over a rural community on the U.S. side of the Rio Grande, an American military veteran armed with marksmanship skills and a hefty rifle hankered from the ground to shoot it down.

“Don’t do it,” Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez Jr. recalled warning the man on that Sunday afternoon last year.

The flight is one of as many as 10 in the past 17 months in which South Texans — in broad daylight — have spotted Mexican helicopters hovering overhead. The aircraft was so close to the ground military personnel could be seen inside, Gonzalez said.
